The Best of 2009: Restaurant Moment

December 2 Restaurant moment. Share the best restaurant experience you had this year. Who was there? What made it amazing? What taste stands out in your mind?

The best and most memorable restaurant moment from this past year would have to have been at Pizzeria Liberetto downtown Toronto. C and I went to visit my brother and his fiancée for the day and we ended up here for supper with them and her sisters. What an experience! They make authentic Neapolitan pizza at this restaurant and I've honestly never tasted anything like it. I ordered: Pingue Prosciutto, Tomato, Basil, Ontario Fiore Di Latte Mozzarella (pictured below) and couldn't believe when I ate the whole thing!! They even have a duck confit and pear pizza at this restaurant, which one of the girls ordered and I tasted. SOOO good! If you're ever in the city and looking for a place to eat, I definitely recommend this place.
